A mezzaning floor is an intermediate floor between main floors of a building, and therefore typically not counted among the overall floors of a building. Standard Mezzanine Floor system consists of Galvanized profile steel deck, joists the beam and intermediate support columns. A light concrete is used to make a permanent floor.
Generally the concrete is cast on metal decking which can be laid continuously, allowing design optimization of sections to reduce weight and cost.
